Welcome to Carolina Bella!

Welcome to my new blog, Carolina Bella! I'm so excited to be able to bring everything all together in one blog...thanks to my designer friend, Lisa Reichman.

Carolina Bella combines lovely ideas in one blog related to motherhood, photography and design. I have a passion for Children's Photography and Children's Clothing, which makes a great combination when selecting that perfect outfit for your next family portrait. My style is very fun, casual and relaxed. The most beautiful children's photos are created when they're not posed or staged, and just in their own element. You can see some of my work here, at Carolina Bella.

Post a comment if you like something :) That's always fun! And, thanks again for stopping by!

Amy.

How long has it been?

I seems like forever since I last wrote on my blog.  Life, in general, has been hectic, not to mention how hectic it was over the Holidays.  I hope to relax and spend more time with family this 2009.  The best memories in life are spent with close family.  I’m an only child and I think that makes me a little more appreciative of siblings or what large families have to offer.  I can remember how excited I was as a child around the Holidays because it meant that I got to see my cousins.  It seems that the same anticipation holds true for my daughter right now.  The love that our family shows to each other makes me so happy and I can’t imagine bringing my daughter up any other way.

Here’s some Christmas photos of the ’only boy’ on my husband’s side of the family.

Happy New Year to All!  I hope you and your family have a wonderful year this 2009 that brings you closer together as a family :)

Magical Christmas

Yes.  Our Christmas was magical this year!  Our daughter was all into ‘Santa Claus’ and the ’spirit of giving’…which made for more fun than years passed, lol :)  She still continues to call on Santa Claus today for gifts (and it’s Sunday), so I don’t think she has the concept completely figured out yet…

Anyway, we had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you & your family did, as well.  And, speaking of celebrations, our nephew was baptized this weekend and he was an absolute doll for the entire church service and beyond.

I’ve been so out of touch with my blog lately & I promise to post photos and stuff soon:)

Happy New Year, A.

My Beautiful Friend

Now has  lil’ baby C.  He is so beautiful and takes my breath away.  He has the same sparkle I see in his mommy’s eyes.  I so loved taking photos of him for the first time.

Such Joy

Joy.  That’s what our family experiences everytime we get together.  Thanksgiving was such a wonderful time for all of us to catch up on so many things.  Life is just so hectic for all of us.  The first couple days we visited my in-laws and stayed with my sister-in-law and her family.  I’m so glad that we did because we had so much fun…and did I mention that we got to stay in the same house as my precious nephew?  His mother was bustling around washing clothes and tending to stuff when she pulled out an outfit and said, “I bought this for him to wear for Christmas”…and I said, “Well, let’s take some photos of him then”!!!  So we did.  We gathered a basket and warm blankets and scooped him up for an outdoor photo session.  Little boys make my heart melt.

As Sweet as He is Cute!

And, yes those are his original baby blues without any color correction.  See below for images of his Momma and you’ll see it runs in the family!  Miss T is one of my closest friends and I don’t have to tell you that she’s one cute lil’ Momma!  Motherhood suits her perfectly and from the looks she gets from Baby C…he’s smitten.  Just a few images to tide you over Tay:)
